The OCD Loop

It usually starts with a thought you didn’t ask for:


“What if I made a mistake?”


“What if I hurt someone?”


“What if I never stop thinking this?”

That thought brings a wave of anxiety.

So you do something to feel safer — a ritual, a habit, a quick check.

And for a moment... it works.

But then it comes back.

  • The compulsions get harder to resist

  • The thoughts get louder

  • And life starts to shrink
